SoCal Social is a community event curated to bring our climbing community together and give everyone the opportunity to compete whether you’re a new or experienced climber.

Scramble format with 60 boulders to try throughout the entire gym. Boulders will be rated 1 – 60, 1 is the easiest 60 is the hardest. See how far you can get! Participants will have 2.5 hours to complete their top boulders. You can try any boulder as many times as you want. Your 6 hardest will count towards your score.
Climbing, DJ, Draw Prizes throughout the entire night!
Join us for the afterparty in our boulder garden when you’re done climbing!
Bevies, music, games, more draw prizes, and happy hour prices with a bespoke menu from Approach Café + Bar
Winners for each category will be announced at 10:30pm

Categories: Beginner Female (C1-C3) Beginner Male (C1-C3), Intermediate Female (C4-C6) Intermediate Male (C4-C6) Open Male (C7+) Open Female (C7+) Masters Female (age 40+) Masters Male (age 40+)
When: June 6th 6pm- Late
Check-in: 6:00pm – 6:30pm
Climbing: 7:00pm – 9:30pm
Afterparty: 9:30pm – late
Awards: 10:30pm

Spectators are welcome, but we suggest they participate. Its much more fun that way!
Setting Disruptions for SoCal.
Please take note of the following closures leading up
to this event.
Wednesday, June 4th. Partial Facility Access.
Half of the boulder walls will be closed for setting. The training area, middle training walls and half the
regular boulders are open and available.
Thursday, June 5th : Limited Facility Access.
Boulder walls will be closed. Training
area and middle Board walls remain open.
Friday, June 6th : Facility Closed until 6pm,
when we will open the doors for the SoCal Social event. Spectators are
welcome! Approach Café will be serving up some tasty Tacos!
SoCal Members have complimentary access to all of our CCC
locations on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
