2025/2026 CCC Team Tryouts
Do you want to climb more and train in a team environment? Do you want to compete in fun climbing events? Join a CCC Team to be a part of this climbing community! Our climbers will create lasting friendships, learn how to challenge themselves, train hard and succeed.
Tryouts for our teams will be held at each of our gym locations so you can choose the gym that works best for you. The dates for each gym are indicated below and include a registration link.
Please be aware: registering for tryouts does not guarantee a placement on one of the CCC Teams, this is a tryout and not all climbers who register will be invited to join a team.
Details
Interested climbers who are born in 2013 or earlier are eligible to participate in these tryouts. If your climber is born in 2014 or 2015, you can register for one of our Youth D Teams via our website when those links are available in June 2025.
Climbers must reserve a time slot – the available time slots will be 5:15pm – 6:30pm and 6:45pm – 8:00pm. Also, all climbers should plan to participate in a fun competition event being held at our SoCal location on Saturday, June 21 from 9:00pm to 12:00pm. This will be the secondary evaluation of the tryout.
The fee for this tryout is $40 + GST.
One tryout session (June 16-19th) and the Competition event on June 21st.
Climbers will run through a simulated training session with our coaches. There will be some specific tasks to complete as the coaches review each climber’s ability to listen to instructions, follow coaching directions and try hard when climbing.
Please bring your climbing shoes and a chalk bag to this tryout; if you do not have these, please arrive early enough to rent at least climbing shoes from the Front Desk. We will not be using the ropes so no harnesses are required for this tryout.
We do inquire about location and time preferences when you register. Please provide as many options as you can – our space for teams can be limited so the greater amount of options you provide us, the more likely we will be able to find a spot with one of our teams.
Climbers will receive an email by Monday, June 23, 2025 with the result of their tryout. Successful climbers will be invited to register with their team by the end of June with their first month of team fees.
