Welcome to the 2023/2024 CCC Team Program season! We are excited to invite new climbers to our program, please review the following information for details on what the CCC Team Program is about and to see how you can be part of one of our teams.
Our program is divided into two areas: Competitive and Non-Competitive. Both are committed to progressively training the climber based on their goals, with one looking to also develop skills to perform in competitions while the other tends to focus more on specific climbing grade goals.
Climbers can enter either program, dependent on age requirements for each team, and move between the two as their goals progress through their climbing experiences. We want all our climbers to find what works for them so they can enjoy this sport for years to come.

The Calgary Climbing Centre is fortunate to have five climbing gyms located throughout the city for climbers to choose from. Teams are scheduled in all gyms – please go to the following schedule to see which teams are scheduled and when.

Competitive Youth Team Program Tryouts
All new climbers interested in joining our competitive team program are asked to book a tryout so they can be evaluated by our coaches before the season starts. Climbers entering our program are placed on a Sport Team for the first year to assist them with their development before they are considered for other teams within the program.
All tryouts will be held at our Hanger location and the following timeslots are available to book by going to the link below – climbers must be born in 2012 or earlier to join a Sport Team:
Tuesday, September 5, 2023: 5:00pm – 8:00pm (1hr slots)
Wednesday, September 6, 2023: 5:00pm – 8:00pm (1hr slots)
The cost is $20.00+GST for a tryout and a climber only needs to book timeslot. Results of the tryout will be delivered by end of day on Saturday, September 9, 2023 and teams start the following week.

Non-Competitive Youth Team Program
For our Redpoint and Youth D Teams, no tryout is required. This is a registered program that is available to climbers that meet the age requirements:
